Overview:

Collaborate & Create is a C.P.P. program devoted to the exploration of creative self-expression in a collaborative group dynamic; experimenting with the ability for a large group of people to collectively create a body of art work with a variety of materials and art supplies. Collaborate& Create can be initiated in public or private settings.

Purpose:

The purpose of Collaborate & Create is to inspire the creation of a spontaneous body of art-work by sharing in the collaborative communal process. C&C can be offered in homes, for parties, at public events, on the street, at festivals, fairs, or other events of almost any kind.

Participants are asked to bring either a “found object” of their choice to act as “canvas”, or an artistic medium of any kind, perhaps both, or simply come open to participating in the collaborative, creative playground being had.

Each workshop is devoted to the completion of a body of work.

Participants are invited to contribute to any work, with any chosen technique, in a communal dance of self-expression. During a C & C event a variety of exercises and “games” will be orchestrated designed to propel the collaborative inter-expression and inspire creative curiosity.

The intention of Collaborate & Create is to invite people into the unknown, allow for the artistic expression of feelings, thoughts and emotions, overcoming hesitations, and fears in order to facilitate personal, as well as group, growth. The inspiration for the Collaborate & Create event is spawned out of the philosophy that creative self-expression is one of the
greatest tools for facilitating a deepening of self-awareness and thus a key to shifting consciousness and creating peace.
