The Create Peace Postcard Project was started in December of 2006, born of a vision by our founder Ross Holzman.

The idea: to have people from around the World express their desire to live in peace on 5x7 postcards.  
In that "Peace Pause" those five, ten, 20, or more minutes of being with ourselves, away from the distraction, accessing that creative self-expression, we create peace.

Since it's inception, we have delivered 6000 postcards, as part of Phase 1, from our San Francisco home base.

This is YOUR project, based on the participation of people around the world, just like you.

Let us all increase "The Peace Pause."

Please take ten, twenty, thirty minutes, an hour of focused time devoted to the expression of your truth, your creative self.

·share this project and get creative with your family

·make art with your friends

·collaborate on postcards as a group

·in public, on the bus, in the park

Then send it in to share with the world:  as a reminder that we support mankind; our fellow beings, in an offering of our love.

The Create Peace Postcard Project is about reclaiming the power of creativity and sharing it with those you love. 

We are asking you to continue sending your finished postcards back so that we can reflect the collective truth and share this unified picture with the World.

A prompt return of cards affirms the growing desire to stop the violence, “be the change” and thus support the growth and development of this project. Please consider making a financial contribution. Pledge a commitment to the practice of peace and allow us to deliver arts education around the world in order we heal the hearts of humanity.

Then take the opportunity to decorate, design, and color your card in any way you feel inspired.
Be open to creating with any medium imaginable.
