Banners for Peace

The Banners for Peace project is a 8-10 week collaborative painting workshop for students in grades 6 – 12. We are currently offering this program to schools around the Bay Area in an effort at strengthening community, creating uplifting messages through art, and promoting peace.

This project supports students in working together to create a giant painting on canvas; a Banner for Peace. This workshop is for groups of 10-25 students to collaborate in the design, creation, and display of a large work of art reflecting their unique expression of peace.

This workshop can be organized in conjunction with an existing art class, as an after-school program, or as an independent workshop within your school, organization, or other community setting.
