We are honored to partner #withMalala to raise the voices and share the visions of youth connecting Global Girls Education and Peace

What it’s all about:

In the 2016/17 school year Create Peace Project, in partnership with Students Stand #withMalala, is facilitating a multi-country Peace Exchange to complement the activities of Phase I and Phase II of the He Named Me Malala film campaign. This Peace Exchange will involve 10,000 youth and educators from schools in the United States, Kenya and India to create a peace card; sharing their artistic vision of how all girls’ right to quality, safe education will create a more peaceful world. This project is open to students in 6th – 12th grades (ages 12 and older). Thank You.

Our Impact:

      • More than 30,000 peace exchanges have taken place in over 10 countries in the last seven years.

Our Motivation:

Today, over 60 million girls are out of school globally. We believe that we can do something about this. It is time for action, and we need your help.

30,000 students from 250+ schools in 10 countries have participated in The Peace Exchange in the past seven years.

It was an amazing afternoon with our kids…they loved to color and wrote beautiful messages! It was wonderful to see kids that have been incredibly abused with such an open heart and full of love…the kids adored it and felt important! They loved the idea of having an American friend! Thank you again for sharing this magical project with us!

It was so much fun to do this project. The best part was seeing what happened afterwards; when the students in Ghana got the cards. It’s really strong to know that someone receives what you made and then they do the same thing in response.

Yesterday was one of the best days ever at our school. There was a feeling of peace throughout the entire school. Teachers all commented on it. Thank you for this marvelous project. We have already decided that we will do something similar every year as a school tradition. You have already made a huge impact on our school.
